Over the past decade, I’ve worked in several areas of the interior design industry. After graduating with my Bachelor’s degree, I trained under several NCIDQ designers working in both commercial and residential design. Working as an interior designer in both luxury firms and more budget-friendly ones, I’ve worked with budgets ranging from a few thousand dollars to a few million. In those years, I’ve worked with clients both in standard interior design as well as online (edesign).
In addition to being an interior designer, I have been formally trained as a merchandiser and home decor stylist and was a buyer and stylist for design showrooms, furniture stores, and home decor boutiques. I’ve worked closely with furniture manufacturers and have been trained in furniture construction and what elements to look for when selecting quality furniture.
I created this blog so that I could share my favorite decor and furniture dupes with you every day.
I also mentor new Interior Designers & Decorators and have created an online course that teaches step-by-step how to start and run a successful design business.
